I am researching chatbots as part of my PhD. I consider design and STS to investigate social interaction, affect and violence. Within the doctoral project I am reviewing what is usually described as personal space as multiple HCI enactments. All this sits between my lecturing, that is weighty in both pleasure and time. For the past 8 years, I am a senior lecturer and pathway leader in graphic design at the University for the Creative Arts, Epsom. Since March 2010, I am also a research assistant for C4D, a Cox funded centre situated at London College of Communication, University of the Arts, and Cranfield University. I currently live and work in London.
